Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, for a Tradesperson at QMW Industries. The Tradesperson will be responsible for fabricating, modifying, and assembling machinery components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Key duties include operating and maintaining tools and equipment, conducting quality checks on manufactured components, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure project timelines are met. The role also requires strict compliance with workplace safety protocols and regulation standards.
Qualifications
Competency in operating and maintaining fabrication tools and machinery
Experience in welding, assembling, and modifying machinery and related components
Knowledge of safety standards, including ROPS and FOPS, for mining, construction, and related sectors
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in manufacturing processes
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a diverse team
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Relevant trade qualification or previous experience in a similar role
Understanding of workplace health and safety standards and protocols
