Job Overview:
The role of an Archivist is pivotal in enhancing the discoverability and accessibility of records within our collection.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct archival reference and research activities utilizing our QSA archival management system
* Pursue projects to increase understanding and utilization of the QSA collection through education services, public programming, and finding aids and guides
* Perform simple arrangement and description activities, including researching the provenance and context of archival public records
* Collaborate with government agencies regarding records appraisal and disposal schedules, as well as assigning restricted access periods for records in the collection
* Maintain adherence to national and international standards and best practices in archival procedures
* Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other documents as required
