Role Overview
The Bail Support Service aims to address the underlying reasons for young people being remanded in custody. This holistic approach involves providing a comprehensive response to risk factors contributing to youth justice system involvement.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement high-quality planning for the Bail Support program.
* Coach, train, and develop colleagues to enhance skill and competency, ensuring effective service delivery.
* Maintain operational stakeholder relationships critical to program success.
* Coordinate staff caseloads, program logistics, monitoring, evaluation, risk management, and child protection.
* Manage a client caseload.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven skills, knowledge, understanding, and experience working with diverse young people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups.
* Leadership experience and skills, with an ability to mentor and coach colleagues.
* Experience in trauma-informed practice.
* Strong communication skills and report writing experience.
