Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support to participants with complex needs, including those with forensic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
* Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies to promote safety and wellbeing.
* Support clients to develop daily living skills, emotional regulation, and independence in line with their individual goals.
* Respond to challenging behaviours using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques, maintaining a calm and professional approach.
* Maintain clear professional boundaries while building respectful and supportive relationships with participants.
* Accurately document daily progress notes, incidents, and behavioural observations in accordance with organisational and NDIS requirements.
* Work collaboratively with behaviour support practitioners, clinicians, and the broader support team to ensure consistent care.
* Support community participation while ensuring risk awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
* Follow organisational policies regarding restrictive practices, duty of care, and safeguarding of vulnerable people.

Pay: $36.75 – $39.77 per hour
