A well-established and growing Australian mining company with WA operations is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the finance team.
This is a hands-on, high-volume AP role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working autonomously, and delivering accurate outcomes under pressure.
You will be joining a supportive finance team and stepping into a well-structured environment where you can add immediate value.
Key Responsibilities
* High-volume processing of supplier invoices (approx. 60–70 per day)
* Reviewing and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
* Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers
About You
* Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable mining environments
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* Full Australian working rights required
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA (recent SAP in mining considered)

* Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + superannuation commensurate with experience and capabilities
