We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Deskside Support Technician. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow with the business

In this role you will be working in a dynamic environment as part of a busy in-house IT team, and will be responsible for supporting all MMSG staff members with their IT enquiries. You will have demonstrated customer-first mindset coupled with a proven capability to work autonomously as well as a part of the team.

This role requires flexibility to work in shifts between the hours of 7AM - 6PM (Mon-Friday) with some occasional out of hours support. Some travel interstate is also required.

Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

- Provide 1st, and 2nd level issue resolution and troubleshooting for end users, both onsite and remote users
- Manage incoming Desk side Support Incidents and Service Requests via the ITSM Tool
- Responsible to document all troubleshooting and resolution details on the ITSM Tool
- Hardware Failures / Issues
- Troubleshoot VDI / Client Remote Desktop Performance Issues
- Set-up, deploy and maintain end user hardware and software including set-up of new starters onsite or remote, troubleshooting printer operations, assisting with video conference setup etc

About you:

- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Education, training and certification in Microsoft Server and Domain Technologies (MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional) or MCTS and/or relevant short course qualifications
- ITIL Foundation V3 Certified is highly desirable
- Proven ability in showing initiative, high level of customer service, strong communication skills and a 'can do' attitude is a must
- Excellent telephone manner coupled with sound problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently with a sense of urgency and able to prioritise tasks effectively
- Capacity, willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills and continually improve current skills
