As **Full Time Maintenance Manager**, you will oversee the day to day maintenance and repairs of the hotel.
**Position Summary**:
- Manage the Day-to-day system operation and maintenance routines of the property
- Oversee all preventative maintenance repairs, feeling empowered to make an impact
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and like-minded people for equipment and relationship building
- Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team through general operational tasks
- Actively identify, conduct and manage repairs to the building and equipment
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
- Oversee building & service standards and identify and implement improvement initiatives showcasing your creativity and innovation skills
- Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Engineering department
- Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the Marriott core values
**About You**:
- Relevant managerial experience in general maintenance, property maintenance in hotels, facilities, residential or commercial.
- Experience in a similar role
- Technical engineering or trades experience
- Working rights in Australia
- Confident decision maker
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a quick-paced environment
- Able to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
