Electrical Engineer – Wide Bay Region

As GHD's Wide Bay team continues to grow, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer based in either of our Bundaberg or Hervey Bay offices. In this newly created role, you'll help strengthen GHD's Electrical capabilities across the region.
Responsibilities
* Projects in Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, Local Government, Lighting and Building Services.
* Working with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Managing project resources to ensure that budgets are maintained.
* Undertaking site inspections and kick off meetings.
* Assisting other electrical engineers in larger projects.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, with Chartered status (e.g., CPEng, RPEQ) highly desirable.
* Ideally have 5+ years' experience working in an EPC or consulting environment.
* Experience in power generation projects, (conventional and renewable technologies), detail design and Technical Due Diligence.
* Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to be a trusted partner to our clients and other stakeholders.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, skilled with report writing.
