Quantity Surveyor Role
This is a senior position in quantity surveying, requiring expertise in cost management and estimation.
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role involves working closely with colleagues to deliver comprehensive cost planning, cost estimation, and cost management for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaboration and Cost Management: The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to deliver comprehensive cost planning, cost estimation, and cost management for various projects.
* Reporting and Feasibility Studies: This includes preparing detailed cost reports, tender documentation, and conducting financial feasibility studies and value engineering.
* Expert Advice and Compliance: Providing expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Education: A Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
* Experience: Proven experience working as a client-side Quantity Surveyor in Australia, with minimum 4-6 years of experience.
* Project Experience: Proven experience in providing full-range project services for major projects.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CostX and Excel.
* Accreditation: Corporate membership or candidates working towards accreditation with AIQS or RICS are preferred.
