About the Position We are looking to welcome an In Home Therapy Assistant to work with children, families, and carers. Full time position. Level 4 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $85,127 - $91,558 Super. Key Responsibilities: Work a flexible roster over a 7-day period including outside of business work hours. Work within a team to provide practical support and intervention based on therapeutic strategies with families, children and young people with complex trauma in the home or broader community setting. Receive clinical guidance around intervention to best meet needs of the individual package. Use a trauma-informed approach to support children and young people and their ecological networks to achieve better outcomes. About You Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (social work, human services, allied health). At least three (3) years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect. Knowledge and understanding of the impacts of trauma on child development and family functioning. Skills and knowledge in parenting programs and direct implementation of these within the family home.
