About the role
Swan Traffic Management is looking for a qualified Senior Supervisor for our current Rio contract. The role requires a positive work ethic, a proven track record in delivering high‐quality personal and supervisory skills, and matching references.
Responsibilities
* Ensure supervisors and crews complete relevant paperwork, upload documents to the system, and forward timesheets to payroll.
* Manage other supervisors and large crews at multiple sites.
* Work alongside the onsite scheduler, attend Rio scheduling meetings, scope projects with relevant crews.
* Book accommodation and flights on the Rio Palms system as needed.
* Complete and check daily diaries, SWMMS, pre‐starts, JHAs, CCCs and related paperwork.
* Conduct daily pre‐start meetings with up to 70 Swan personnel.
* Report to the Operations manager, General Manager and Directors.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Positive, level‐headed work ethic and ability to brainstorm solutions with senior supervisors.
* Fit and healthy with no underlying health issues or injuries; full fit for CAT 1 medical.
* Completion of supervised drug and alcohol testing required for all projects.
* White Card.
* AWTM credentials (training available for the right candidate).
* Mining background or major civil experience essential.
* C‐class manual driver licence.
* Not on a working holiday; committed to long‐term employment.
* Requires experience supervising in a mining or civil environment; applicants who are only traffic controllers without supervisory experience will not be considered.
Additional Details
Positions are based from the Osborne Park Office. The roster is approximately 96 hours per shift (Thursday to Thursday) on an 8 and 6 rotation.
