We are seeking a Senior Power BI Specialist to join our client for a 6‑month temporary assignment (potential 3‑month extension on offer). This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in Power BI reporting and experience migrating reports from a legacy system.

Description
* Build, transform, and maintain robust Power BI semantic models using DAX and Power Query, integrating data from Azure Databricks.
* Design and deliver intuitive, self‑service dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions.
* Apply best practices in modelling and reporting for performance optimisation.
* Collaborate with IT, business units, and vendors to define reporting needs and ensure adoption of solutions.
Profile
* Extensive experience & proficiency in Power BI development, including data modelling and DAX.
* Azure Databricks experience.
* Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices.
* Experience liaising with both business & IT stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
* Proven track record in delivering customer‑focused reporting solutions.
* Experience migrating reports from Oracle BI (or similar legacy system) to Power BI.
