Job Description
On behalf of Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilizer, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our E&I team at Karratha for Perdaman's Ammonia & Urea project. Perdaman, a leading player in the fertiliser industry with its corporate office in Western Australia, is looking for a candidate to fulfill the responsibilities as identified in this position description.
Responsibilities
* Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting in compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards
* Collaborate with plant operators, technicians, and engineers
* Liaise with other Managers, Reliability Engineers, Operations and Planning teams, procurement teams, Contractors and OEMs
* Investigate failures, analyse issues, and report concerns to supervisors for corrective actions
* Provide troubleshooting expertise during unplanned equipment downtime, ensuring rapid recovery
* Analyse data from assets in responsible area and work towards proactively improving efficiency, reliability, and safety
* Maintain accurate records for assets in responsible area including history/data-entry in ERP system
* Generate performance reports and document incidents affecting operations
* Provide technical support during commissioning, ensuring thorough testing and seamless integration
* All Instrumentation, Controls and Telecom Assets for entire plant and offsites
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in related field and can qualify for professional engineer to be a member of Engineers Australia
* Minimum of 15 years in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant
* Familiar with Instrumentation and control systems used in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant
* Detail-oriented with a focus on precision
* Ability to make the best possible decisions with the available information, and circumstances which require immediate response
