About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Planner, Pellet Plant to plan for Safety Work Execution. Ensuring all weekly maintenance activities are planned and scheduled to maximize the efficiency of our people and equipment while improving the reliability of the operation.
What the role entails
Reporting to the Superintendent, Pellet Plant, you will:
Ensure safety needs are given top priority in work planning
Identify and plan all maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability
Ensure work orders for accountable area are prioritized, fully planned with all resources, materials, and specialized tooling identified with assignment of appropriate status
Review work in the required schedule period considering asset criticality, statutory work, warranty, repairable severity, and safety impact
Participate in monthly cost reviews, escalating any major variance of actual vs. plan and identifying opportunities to realign spend vs. budget
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication of the plans and upcoming maintenance
Ensure critical risks are identified in the planning process
Improve productivity of people, equipment, and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles to efficient work execution
Provide KPI data showing maintenance performance
Apply shutdown management best practices and schedule shipping of repairable items and track them until they return to site
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Electrical Engineering or Technology Diploma
Certified electrician or equivalent planner training with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial setting
Uncompromising commitment to working safely and intelligently
Demonstrated rigor in the application of AM standards
Effective organizational and time management skills to manage a wide-ranging and priority-changing workload
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a team and prioritize tasks & common goals
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Assets:
Previous Planning Experience
Strong working knowledge of SAP
