About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our Land and Water Team in Adelaide.
As an integral member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of contaminated land management and remediation projects, working closely with our Principal staff and EPA accredited Contaminated Land Auditor.
You will be responsible for field investigation and data gathering, with an emphasis on data interpretation and analysis, research literature & regulatory requirements, writing internal and client correspondence and reports.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in hydrogeology, EPA Audits, State Significant Infrastructure projects, complex site assessment and remediation, including managing asbestos.

Key Responsibilities
* Field Investigation and Data Gathering: Conduct site visits, collect and analyze data, and interpret results to inform project decisions.
* Data Interpretation and Analysis: Apply technical knowledge to evaluate data and provide recommendations for project outcomes.
* Research and Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant SA Environmental legislation and guidelines, ensuring compliance and informing project strategies.
* Reporting and Communication: Write clear, concise reports and correspondences for internal and client stakeholders.

Requirements
* Tertiary Qualifications: Hold a degree in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology or environmental engineering from a recognized institution.
* Professional Experience: Possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in environmental consulting, with at least 2 years operating in Australia.
* Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of NEPM (Assessment of Site Contamination) and relevant contaminated land guidelines.
* Skillset: Showcase exposure to proposal writing, developing innovative approaches to solving client problems, and collaboration within a dynamic team environment.
