About the role:
We're modernising an existing, fully operational PHP-based product and migrating the front-end into React. You'll be taking established, functioning screens and rebuilding them into clean, modern, maintainable interfaces. This isn't a design-to-code role — you'll be defining the UI as you rebuild it. If you like ownership, fast iteration, and shipping real improvements weekly, you'll fit perfectly. While this is primarily a front-end role, there is potential for the position to expand into full-stack work for applicants with an interest or background in PHP or backend concepts.
What You'll Do:
* Rebuild existing PHP front-end screens into modern React + TypeScript
* Design UI flows, layouts, and interactions without pixel-perfect Figma files
* Produce quick prototypes to validate ideas before fully implementing
* Work closely with the backend developer to integrate existing APIs
* Iterate frequently on screens and components based on real user feedback
* Contribute to a consistent design approach as we modernise the product
* (Optional) Apply backend or PHP knowledge to assist with functionality, if you're interested
Your work will directly improve speed, stability, and user experience for an already active platform.
