About the role Reporting to the General Manager of Legal & Company Secretarial and based onsite at the Corporate Office in Homebush West, you will act as a trusted advisor, delivering high-quality, strategic, and pragmatic legal advice to ASX listed company Harvey Norman Holdings Limited, and each subsidiary (the Company).
You will be exposed to a wide range of legal matters in this role— anything with a legal element may come across your desk.
You'll engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management and executives, that will instruct on a range of matters that include, but are not limited to, the following: Information Technology (Master Services Agreements, software licensing, IT project and development governance) Sponsorships and promotional activities (Sponsorship Agreements - see pages 61 to 63 of the Harvey Norman Holdings Limited 2025 Annual Report available here).
Commercial terms of supply and purchase Procurement activities AML/CTF, gift card activities and finance arrangements Privacy and data governance Compliance and regulatory compliance Responsibilities Provide high-quality legal advice to the Company and its subsidiaries on a wide range of matters with a legal element Engage with senior management and executives to address legal and commercial issues Draft, review and negotiate agreements including IT, sponsorship, supply, procurement, privacy, and compliance documents Support governance, regulatory compliance and risk management activities About you You are a qualified Lawyer with post-admission experience, ideally gained within a reputable in-house legal team.
You demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
