We need a Coordinator for the Rotary Sail into Life
Accessible Sailing and Fishing program
Rotary Sail into Life is an accessible program for people with disabilities that operates from Koombana Bay Sailing Club in Bunbury. We are looking for the right person to take on this challenging but rewarding role. The person would ideally have an interest in sailing and fishing, enjoy working with people with disabilities and be able to lead a team of volunteers.
Part- time / seasonal position
15 hours per week October to April
Responsibilities
* Recruit, induct and train volunteers
* Provide presentations, marketing and program promotion
* Source funding opportunities
* Work with people with disabilities, their families and support workers
* Maintain and upkeep equipment and assets
* Ensure a supported, safe and fun on-water experience for all participants
What you essentially need
* NDIS screening clearance
* Working with Children's check
* Fully COVID Vaccinated (3 doses)
* Experience in the disability/community sector
* NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
* Senior First Aid Certificate
What you desirably need
* Sailing experience
* Cert IV training and assessment
* Recreational Skippers Ticket
