About the Role
As a Services Assistant, your key responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, preparing and serving meals to patients, and assisting with laundry duties. You will ensure a safe and clean environment by performing tasks such as mopping, dusting, washing, and window cleaning. You may also assist with food preparation, including preparing meals and delivering food trays to patients. Your role will support the overall functioning of the hospital, contributing to the comfort and well‑being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness across Tumby Bay Health Service
* Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and rubbish disposal
* Assist with laundry duties, including collection and delivery of linen
* Support catering tasks like meal preparation and food delivery to patients
* Work independently and as part of a team, ensuring efficient service delivery
