Early Childhood Educator – Casual Opportunities (Sandhills Early Childhood Centre)
Job Summary
We are looking for caring, nurturing, and creative educators to join Sandhills Early Childhood Centre – Byron Shire Council.
In a spacious and natural environment near the Byron foreshore we strive to nurture each child's sense of belonging, ensuring a safe and supportive setting.
Responsibilities
Work with a team of educators to implement the daily program in line with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
Receive the Federal Government's early childhood worker retention payment (additional 10% of the base Children's Services award rate).
Earn between $***** and $***** per hour (rate based on experience and qualifications) plus the retention payment of about $3 per hour.
Be eligible for flexible working arrangements.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience working with children in a long-day care environment.
A strong commitment to early childhood education and care.
Effective communication skills with children, parents, and staff.
