In the role you will:
* Lead requirements gathering, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and develop comprehensive user stories and functional specifications for development teams
* Convert complex business requests into clear, actionable technical deliverables aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives
* Support Agile delivery through estimation processes, prioritisation frameworks, and sprint planning to ensure consistent milestone achievement
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business units, ensuring effective communication of technology capabilities
* Develop requirements specifications for critical technology assets including NRL Account, Content & Archive, Data Lakehouse, and API Marketplace
* Provide expertise in digital product development including UX / UI requirements, wireframes, and user experience validation
Ideally you will have:
* 5+ years' experience as a business analyst with proven track record in digital product development and technology project delivery
* Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and Agile / Scrum expertise with practical experience in sprint planning and backlog management
* Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project
* Solid understanding of software development concepts and modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, mobile applications, and data analytics
* Experience with digital product deliverables including UX / UI specifications, wireframes, and prototyping
* Exceptional communication and analytical skills with ability to engage stakeholders effectively and identify optimal solutions
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills enabling effective stakeholder engagement across diverse audience levels
* Advanced analytical thinking capabilities with ability to identify root causes, assess alternatives, and recommend optimal approaches
