* Base Salary Range:
o $87,416 - $110,497 p.a | RN/M2C
o $74,831 - $102,103 p.a | RN/M1
* In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging ).

Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M2C or RN/M1, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

Whyalla Hospital

Whyalla Hospital and Health Services is a large regional hospital comprising of 75 beds including flex beds and a designated High Dependency Unit. The hospital provides a wide range of services, including emergency, medical and surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, mental health, and outpatients. Whyalla Hospital's Cancer Resource Centre is one of the largest in regional South Australia. It includes six chemotherapy chairs, outpatient care and counselling services, reducing the need to travel outside of the region for care. It is also, one of three stroke services in regional SA, providing specialised treatment for suitable stroke patients 24/7, supported by metropolitan stroke units. Our staff work in close partnership with community health services and Aboriginal health providers, to ensure that optimum care is delivered to all areas of the community. About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will provide expert nursing and/or midwifery services across a diverse range of healthcare settings, building upon your established experience and/or advanced studies. You'll have the opportunity to evolve from a competent to a proficient practitioner, taking on increased responsibility for your own practice standards while overseeing delegated activities and mentoring less experienced staff. On-call duties will be required as part of this role.

This position is primarily clinical, but you'll also have the chance to take on meaningful portfolio responsibilities, tailored to your career growth and aspirations. These portfolio assignments will be designed in collaboration with you, ensuring they align with your personal development goals, as outlined in your performance review and development plan. This dynamic role offers a great opportunity for continuous growth while contributing to the success of the team and the care of your patients.

As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1), you'll provide essential nursing and/or midwifery care in various healthcare settings, progressing from a novice to a proficient practitioner. Through continuous development and experience, you'll refine your skills and knowledge. On-call duties will also be required.

You'll take responsibility for maintaining high standards of care and managing tasks delegated to others, growing your expertise while contributing to the healthcare team's success.

About You:

* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

RN/M2C

* Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.

RN/M1

* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
