Cyber Security is a critical function in driving Shell Energy's transition to a net-zero world.
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to lead our efforts from the frontline.
* Experience in Cyber Security focused roles.
* System hardening across a wide scope of systems.
* Awareness and experience complying with ASD Essential 8.
* Familiarity with various industry standards, frameworks and applicable laws such as ISO:27001, NISTSP800-53, GDPR, Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act.
* Cyber security incident investigation and remediation, including forensic data gathering.
* Identity and Access Management platforms including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Authenticator, Okta, Ping ID etc.
* Cyber security monitoring and logging configurations to identify Indicators of Compromise (IOC).
* Secturing Amazon Web Services workloads highly desirable.

Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity principles, best practices and technologies, including encryption, access control, intrusion detection/prevention systems, penetration testing, threat intelligence and incident response procedures, are crucial for protecting IT systems and data.
Virtualisation and Containerisation
Understanding virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and containerisation platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) enables efficient resource utilisation, scalability and deployment flexibility.
IT Service Management (ITSM)
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT) and service delivery processes such as incident management, change management, problem management and service-level management, facilitates effective IT service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Candidates should demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools, techniques and methodologies. They should also possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
