About the Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of workers compensation claims within a self-insurance model. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end case management, collaborating with internal stakeholders and business partners to achieve sustainable return-to-work and claims outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions
- Applying legislation and internal frameworks to deliver compliant and efficient outcomes
- Providing injured employees with quality support and trusted advice
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective claim strategies
- Conducting reviews and case conferences to monitor progress
- Mentoring and supporting team members in best-practice claims management
About You
- Strong technical knowledge of VIC workers compensation legislation (SA knowledge highly regarded)
- Experience in return-to-work coordination or rehabilitation case management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A cooperative, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Tertiary qualifications in allied health, injury management or a related field (preferred but not essential)
