We are seeking a highly skilled Clinician to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team.
Job Description
Our 12 week locum assignment in Byron Bay, Tweed Heads, Grafton and Lismore offers an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians to provide high-quality assessment and treatment services to children and young people aged 0-18 years with or at risk of serious mental illness.
As part of our dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based treatments and support the needs of patients, their families and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assessment and clinical treatment, case management and support for patients, their families and carers.
* Identify and engage with key community service providers involved in rehabilitation, recovery, support and discharge planning consistent with patient and family/carers' needs.
* Conduct community consultation, awareness and education activities to increase understanding of psychiatric disorders and delivery models within the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Completed qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Nursing. Current Registration with professional body or eligibility to do so. National Police Check. Current Driver's Licence. Covid 19 vaccination including booster.
Benefits:
Casual Rates up to $65 per hour depending on specialty + super. Free shared accommodation provided and travel allowance both ways to contract.
