Job Title: Social Worker – Children in Care

Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) Team. In this vital role, you will support looked-after children and young people, ensuring they receive the care, stability, and opportunities they need to thrive.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will manage a caseload of children and young people under the care of the local authority, developing and reviewing care plans in line with statutory requirements. You will ensure their safety by identifying safeguarding concerns and advocating for their voice in all decisions. Collaboration with professionals including foster carers, schools, and health services is essential, attending multi-agency meetings such as Looked After Child (LAC) reviews. Responsibilities include preparing legal reports, maintaining accurate records, supporting transitions like reunification or independence, and conducting statutory visits. You will also participate in supervision and training to uphold professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Social Work England registration
* Right to work in the UK
* Full UK driving licence
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent
* Post-qualified experience in children in care, safeguarding, or statutory children's services
