We are currently seeking a diligent, dedicated, and efficient Accounts Clerk for a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing financial and administrative assistance to our accountants
* Processing accounts and incoming payments
* Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
* Setting up new creditors/suppliers
* Completing creditor checks and credit application processing
* Ensuring suppliers invoices have been charged and recorded correctly
* Controlling and managing all creditors invoice/statement filing
* Generating purchase orders as requested
* Liaising with internal staff, external suppliers, and other departments regarding accounting matters
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar accounts role
* Basic understanding of accounting functions and general accounting procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and accounting software
* Fast, accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-focused mindset
* High level of integrity and professionalism
