A reputable commercial contractor specialising in built‑form construction, new builds, refurbishments, and high‑quality fitout projects is seeking an experienced Leading Hand / Supervisor to join their growing delivery team. Your new role
Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll be hands‑on when needed, while also coordinating trades, managing site activities, and helping drive the program.
* Assist in day‑to‑day site supervision across commercial new builds and fitout projects
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to specification
* Maintain site safety, compliance, and quality standards
* Support short‑term programming and sequencing of works
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily reporting
* Provide hands‑on support where required to keep the project moving
What you'll need to succeed
* Ideally be a trade qualified carpenter or Cert IV in Building and Construction
* Experience as a Leading Hand or Junior Site Supervisor within commercial construction
* Strong understanding of built‑form construction and fitout methodologies
* Ability to read and interpret plans and manage trades effectively
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong communication skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering great outcomes
