Speech Pathologist Role

Key Responsibilities:
* You will provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric caseload – providing direct, family-based and community-based support to individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
* Your day-to-day role will include assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload in terms of both age and modality of intervention, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary context to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes.
* You will work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support.
* Ongoing evaluation, training and review will ensure the delivery of quality services to clients.
Skills And Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology are essential, along with Speech Pathology Australia Registration.
* You must have a passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help each client achieve their own goals, potential and participate in their community in a way that is meaningful for them.
* Exceptional communication skills are required to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Effective time management and attention to detail are necessary.
* You must be passionate about making a difference with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families.
* Experience working with children and adolescents and confidence in your role working closely with their families is highly valued.
* Compliance requirements include Speech Pathology Australia Registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, Driver's License & Vehicle.
