ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Data Architect Health Data Intelligence is responsible for developing database solutions to store and retrieve NSW Ambulance Business Intelligence Information (BII), installing and configuring BII to ensure functionality, and analysing structural requirements for system upgrades and applications. The position is also required to undertake investigation, analysis and evaluation of current and future business needs to enhance overall data analytics and reporting.
The position holder will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement and documentation of NSW Ambulance Health Data Intelligence Systems (HDIS), Data Models and associated ETL / SSIS processes. This responsibility extends to the development of Qlikview / QlikSense or Power BI Applications; maintaining the Qlikview / QlikSense and Power BI Management Console and Publisher and to advise and adhere to best practice standards and techniques in order to maximise positive business outcomes and meet data governance standards.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities :
* The Senior Data Architect is a unique and rewarding role which supports the high standard, one source of truth data model and provision of information to NSW Ambulance. You understand the information systems, reporting processes and data governance considerations. Experience in Health and Health data and information systems is highly desirable.
* It is preferable that you have tertiary qualifications in information technology, information management and computer science or demonstrate professional experience in developing, implementing and maintaining data models by using ETL / SSIS process based on the business requirement to deliver an enhanced reporting and information system.
* High-level technical skills in designing data architecture and data model concepts in order to automate the data extraction, transformation and load process from multiple source systems.
* Ability to develop data visualisation principles to design high-quality dashboards in Qlikview / Qliksense and Power BI.
* Experience and skill in creating technical documentation of data models and relevant applications.
* Conceptual and innovative problem-solving skills for health system information.
