The role involves preparing and verifying documents for scanning, performing quality checks on scanned documents, and correcting any anomalies in the system.
Effective communication skills are essential for responding to telephone, email, and fax enquiries from other departments and external organizations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining accurate databases and performing filing and culling of health records.
Liaising with secondary storage contractors for the retrieval and return of health records is also a key aspect of this role.
