What You Will Be Doing
The primary focus of this position is to provide a comprehensive social work service to children, young people and their families referred from the relevant clinical area. This includes the provision of psychosocial assessments, counselling and advocacy. Services will encompass individual, family and group work and program development. The social worker is an integral part of the multi‐disciplinary team.
This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander position. Qualifications
* Bachelor of Social Work (or a Qualifying Master of Social Work) and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Evidence of qualification and description of experience gained in the field.
* Experience working with Aboriginal children and families.
