What You’ll Be Doing You’ll join the team as a senior consultant and contribute to a variety of client-facing and internal work, including: Advising on common workplace issues such as underperformance, misconduct, absenteeism, redundancies, employee conflict and terminations Attending client meetings and supporting managers through tricky people decisions Assisting in the implementation of HR systems and compliance (e.g., policies, contracts, audits) Leading HR project work across our Perform & Grow or Admin & Feedback solutions Managing client relationships to build a stronger understanding of their business, whilst educating on HR practices Learning to coach clients, present confidently, and manage client relationships. Contributing to internal knowledge development and mentoring junior HR staff over time. About You You’re an experienced HR Advisor (or possibly already a senior HR Business Partner) with practical knowledge of employment legislation and how to apply it in real workplace situations. You know how to have difficult conversations, explain risks clearly, and work collaboratively with business owners and/or managers to find practical solutions. You’re looking for the next step in your career — a chance to work with multiple clients, grow your capability, and move toward a more senior consulting role. Selection Criteria Strong understanding of Australian employment law, especially the Fair Work Act. Solid HR Advisory experience across: managing performance, misconduct, absence and lateness, restructures/redundancies, terminations and other related topics Strong written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented approach Ability to work a full-time role, working hybrid in the Clayton office, onsite with clients and WFH (if desired) Must have full Australian working rights.
