The Role
We are looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Modbury where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast‐paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.
The Responsibilities
* Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
* Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
* Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
* Advising patients of care
* Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
* Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
* Answering telephone calls and enquiries
* Booking in patients
* Administration support
The Successful Candidates
* Have previous chairside dental experience preferred
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Demonstrate a positive, can‐do attitude
* Be comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment
* Have a robust work ethic and excellent attention to detail
* Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years' dental assisting experience preferred
