ENGCO Projects is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our expanding team. We deliver high-quality project delivery, safety, and commercial services supporting Tier 1 Projects with expertise and reliability.
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team, working on high-profile projects across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of major civil works packages including underground and marine interface works, HVDC cable corridors, access tracks, HDD operations, and associated civil infrastructure.
* Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of site activities including earthworks, concrete structures, drainage, utilities diversions, access roads, and environmental controls.
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on program, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.
* Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation including ITPs, work packs, permits, RFIs, progress reporting, and as-built records.
* Monitor and report on safety, environmental, and quality performance, ensuring compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to construction planning, look-ahead programming, and risk assessments, including participation in Take 5s, pre-starts, and toolbox meetings.
* Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Supervisors, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure effective integration across all project functions.
* Assist with cost tracking, variations, forecasting, and subcontractor claims to support commercial outcomes on a large-scale infrastructure project.
* Engage with key stakeholders including client representatives, designers, landowners, and local authorities to support smooth project delivery in a regional environment.
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* 5+ years of site-based experience in civil construction, ideally demonstrated within tier 1 projects
* White Card required
* Demonstrated understanding of rail site construction, including track formation, drainage, structures, or signaling.
* Competent in engineering supervision, stakeholder communication, and site documentation.
* A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and collaborative project delivery.
