Are you a meticulous, operations focused Financial Controller with a passion for precision and protecting revenue…? If so, we have an exciting opportunity at Sirv for you. This role sits at the heart of how Sirv thrives or fails, keeping client funding, billing accuracy, and cashflow tight across the NDIS, Home Care and Allied Health sectors.
Your Role:
As the Financial Controller at Sirv, you are the cornerstone of our financial operations and an embedded partner to Operations. Reporting to Sirv leadership, you will lead the finance function while working side-by-side with the operational teams to ensure services delivered are authorised, funded, billed correctly, and paid on time.
This role also oversees Sirv's Corporate Services and Talent Acquisition functions, holding accountability for outcomes across business administration, core systems administration, and hiring delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Sirv finance function, ensuring strong controls, accurate reporting, and reliable month-end outcomes.
* Own Sirv's funding-to-revenue integrity across NDIS, Home Care and Allied Health by partnering with Operations to prevent revenue leakage, rejected claims, and unpaid services.
* Ensure billing and claiming governance is tight, with clear routines across Operations and Finance to keep services billable, compliant, and collected.
* Oversee cashflow, debtors performance, and working capital, driving disciplined invoicing and collections and fast dispute resolution.
* Deliver accurate and timely financial insights, forecasting, and modelling to support pricing, growth, utilisation, and resourcing decisions.
* Drive system and process improvements that reduce manual handling, improve data quality, and strengthen billing and funding controls.
* Oversee Corporate Services outcomes (business administration, systems administration, marketing interface) to ensure the operational engine is supported and stable.
* Oversee Talent Acquisition outcomes to ensure workforce supply meets operational demand, with compliant and on-time recruitment delivery.
* Provide strong leadership, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across finance and the connected support functions.
Rewards & Remuneration:
At Sirv, we recognise and reward talent. You will be joining a business where finance and operations are tightly connected, and where your work has a direct impact on service quality, cashflow, and growth.
* Competitive annual salary + superannuation based on experience.
* Flexibility options (including 1 day work-from-home arrangements) aligned to role requirements.
* Coaching and mentoring.
* Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation.
We Require:
To thrive in this role, you should bring strong technical finance capability, commercial judgment, and the ability to influence operational outcomes.
* Proven Financial Controller experience in the disability and in-home aged care service environment.
* Strong understanding of billing integrity, revenue assurance, debtor management, and cashflow in a high-volume service business.
* Demonstrated ability to partner with operational teams and drive shared routines, accountability, and outcomes.
* Strong leadership skills with experience leading a finance function and holding cross-functional teams accountable to targets and standards.
* Proficiency in Xero, Excel, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and deliver under deadlines.
* CPA or CA.
