We're a family-run business deeply rooted in values that span generations. As we expand were looking for a Tractor Driver to join us on this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in the future of Rombola Family Farms team based in Nericon NSW.
Tractor Driver
Responsibilities
* Operating big tractor engaged in transfer of produce bins and other containers.
* Participate in the inspection grading sorting storage and post-harvest treatment of crops.
* Perform basic set up and operation of irrigation equipment.
* Apply pesticides herbicides or fertilizers to crops.
* Clean and maintain irrigation ditches.
* Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of vehicles assets and equipment.
* Perform farm labouring and maintenance tasks.
* Perform daily pre-start checks.
* Record information about crops.
* Dig and plant seeds or transplant seedlings by hand.
* Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand.
* Load agricultural products into trucks or storage facilities.
Qualifications
* Current unencumbered Drivers License and transport.
* Forklift license desirable.
* Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert) desirable.
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
* Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
* Awareness and ability to adhere to WHS requirements.
* Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
* Good written and verbal communication skills
