Our friendly, supportive and cooperative team is part of the broader Business Operations Department, which covers Guest Relations, Records Management and Facilities Management Teams.Our Corporate Catering team prepare a variety of innovative, on-trend food items to enhance the experience of our clients. Our team can accommodate a number of clients events, from a formal breakfast, lunch and dinner to canapés for cocktail events and corporate seminars.As a Barista in our Catering team you will:* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee to Allens staff in our in-house café.* Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the coffee machine and kitchen through regular cleaning and upkeep.* Manage all aspects of coffee service, including stocking of milks and other supplies.* Deliver exceptional customer service to Allens employees and build relationships with staff.* Support the team by assisting with dishwashing, general kitchen cleanliness, client boardroom setup/pack down and coffee service.* Train new staff as needed.* Assist the team by performing basic administrative tasks where required.This is a permanent opportunity. Working hours are from 7.30am – 12.30pm Monday to Friday.**About you**You will have:* Previous barista experience and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.* The ability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment.* Corporate hospitality experience is preferred however not essential.* Experience working as part of a team providing excellent service to a range of customers.* A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.**Your development**In joining Allens, you will receive unparalleled learning and development opportunities.
