Service Desk Analyst (Level 2)

Location: Canberra (Open to Australian Citizens Only)

Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible to obtain Baseline AGSVA Clearance

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Office Based

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Are you a technically sharp IT support professional ready to step into a more advanced role? Willyama Services is seeking a Level 2 Service Desk Analyst to join our growing team of cyber-secure, cloud-savvy professionals. You’ll be the go-to escalation point for complex IT issues and play a key role in supporting enterprise environments across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.

What You\'ll Be Doing

- Provide support for escalated technical issues across Microsoft 365 (Business and Enterprise) Azure environments leveraging Entra ID and Intune.
- Manage service requests, including device enrolment, VDI management, application packaging, and security configurations.
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate and streamline common support tasks.
- Support system administration tasks including patching, identity management, and endpoint security aligned with the Essential 8 framework.
- Mentor Level 1 analysts and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with senior cloud infrastructure engineers on system improvements and incident resolution.

What You Bring

- Australian Citizenship (required) and eligibility for Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance.
- 3–4 years in IT support roles, including at least 1 year in a Level 2 capacity.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (business and Enterprise), Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Intune.
- Hands-on experience with application packaging, device compliance, and PowerShell scripting.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly the Essential 8.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft AZ/MS/SC-900, AZ-104/500, or ITIL Foundation.
