We are a dedicated team committed to providing nutritious meals to those in need. Our Meals on Wheels program plays a crucial role in supporting our community, and we are looking for a dedicated and organised team member to join our catering team.
About the role
As a member of the catering team, you will be responsible for adhering to our food safety standards, supporting the day-to-day operations of the plating room, working in the freezer and delivering meals to our branches.
The physically demanding role involves lifting, carrying and moving large quantities of food between kitchen, cool rooms, branches and trucks.
About you
You'll be physically fit (you'll be on your feet most of the day), be able to work in cool spaces and have -
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
