Security Control Room Operator at Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Monitor multiple CCTV screens to detect and respond to emergencies, including code grey and black, suspicious activities, security breaches and other incidents.
* Operate and maintain security equipment including CCTV systems, door access control systems, duress alarms, and monitor security radio communications.
* Demonstrate strong technical skills and the ability to problem solve internal security systems.
* Review and download camera footage in accordance with RMH procedure, maintaining records.
* Compile security audits and reports.
* Provide accurate communication to the security response team, Switchboard and Emergency Controller to ensure a coordinated response during security incidents and emergencies.
About You / Qualifications
* A current Victorian security licence with Control Room Operator endorsement.
* Minimum 6 months experience in a health-related control room environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Operate within the scope of legislation and maintain complete confidentiality.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
* Professional presentation, reception and customer service skills.
* Conflict resolution skills.
* Flexibility with regards to shift patterns and availability.
