Australian owned and run, Redelman Fabrics have been operating for over 75 years and have the largest collection of in-stock fabrics nationally. Redelman have developed important supply relationships with some of the finest fabric mills, trim and wall covering manufacturers in the world.
We service architects, interior designers, upholsterers and manufacturers by suppling drapery, upholstery and trims via our three showrooms nationally. Our Prahran, Melbourne location is currently looking for our next part-time Showroom and Sales extraordinaire.
We are a close-knit and friendly team who put our customers first with great, timely service to respond to all stock, pricing and lead time enquiries.
About the role:
The role is primarily based in the showroom, however as lead generation is a component of this role, the applicant will be required to visit client’s design studios to present new and in-stock collections and distribute samples and cuttings.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate assistance to all client enquiries.
- To process and place orders with Head Office, order cuttings and samples and complete daily administration tasks.
- Present and pro-actively promote new and stocked items via in-person visits to interior design and upholstery clients.
- To maintain a regular call cycle with clients and foster new business and relationships via phone, email and social media.
- To follow-up after showroom visits and on client referrals.
- To create appropriate displays within the showroom and ensure stock is up to date.
- To present and drop off samples to clients outside of the showroom if required.
- To assist with the creation of social media or email marketing via the corporate account.
Ideally, we are after someone who has a confident, customer service orientated manner, iswell organised with a good eye for detail and enjoys working autonomously.
