We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Victoria. As a regional mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring that vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a qualified Mechanic to undertake quality workmanship and diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components. Key responsibilities include:
* Dismantling and fitting new mechanical and suspension parts
* Conducting quality control and inspection of vehicles
* Test driving vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards
* Performing wheel alignments
* Updating diagnostic computers and wheel alignment computers as necessary
* Labeling and storing parts correctly
* Checking new parts for correctness and damage
* Performing adaptations based on diagnoses
* Cleaning the work bay and workshop areas
