The Role
4. Oversee food production and menu-based catering across the site
5. Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders including residents
6. Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
7. Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
The Person
8. Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
9. Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
10. Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
11. Experience in the healthcare sector highly favoured
12. Strong commercial acumen with good inventory management
