How will you contribute to ensuring access to justice for all?
We are seeking a Trainee Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injuries team in Bundaberg or Maroochydore on a full-time, 12-month contract. This role offers a great opportunity to join a fantastic team, grow your career within Maurice Blackburn, and may suit a law student or someone looking to enter the legal industry.
You will provide quality reception and administrative assistance, supporting our clients when they need it most.
Your responsibilities include answering and managing calls, diary management, client contact, file management, preparing correspondence, court documents, briefs of evidence, and providing daily administrative support.
The experience we are looking for
* Experience in a law firm or professional services firm is desirable but not essential;
* Customer service experience is essential;
* Experience as a personal assistant or in an administrative role is desirable but not essential;
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal) with diverse clients, including non-English backgrounds;
* Strong attention to detail;
* Excellent organizational and time management skills;
* Ability to work in a high-paced environment with competing demands;
* Ability to work in a team; and
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
