Some HR jobs are all policy and paperwork. This isn't one of them. Our client is looking for someone who wants to be part of the business — not hidden in the background. This is a hands‐on HR role based in their Adelaide Head Office, working closely with leaders and staff across the business. You'll be involved in everything from onboarding and training through to performance conversations, compliance, workplace matters, and improving internal processes. You'll need to be someone who backs themselves, communicates well, and can hold a skilled standard without overcomplicating things. The Role

This is a true HR generalist position where no two days are the same.

* Staff onboarding, inductions, and training
* Performance management and workplace conversations
* HR documentation, records, and compliance
* Reviewing and improving policies and procedures
* Employee leave management
* Supporting leaders with day‐to‐day HR matters
* WorkCover and Return to Work support where required (training provided)

This role suits someone who is organised, confident, practical, and knows how to balance people skills with business expectations.

You'll ideally bring:

* Experience in a generalist HR officer or admin role
* Solid communication and people skills
* Confidence handling difficult conversations professionally
* High attention to detail and good organisation
* The ability to work independently and back your judgement
* A practical approach to policy, compliance, and accountability
