This role will see you being responsible for delivering data-driven insights that optimise sales performance, marketing effectiveness and stock management. You will support cross functional teams by analysing product sales trends, campaign ROI and stock availability, to improve demand planning, targeted promotions and inventory efficiency.
Reporting to the Head of Reporting, Analytics and Forecasting, key responsibilities will include:
Sales AnalysisTrack and analyse sales performance across products, categories, regions and channelsIdentify sales trends, growth opportunities and underperforming areasSupport sales forecasting with historical data and trend analysisCollaborate with sales team to align reporting with goals and targetsStatistical reporting to government bodiesTrack and review current pricing schedulesTrack margin erosion through sales life cycle
Marketing Performance AnalysisEvaluate campaign performance, customer engagement and ROIProvide insight into customer acquisition, retention and conversion trendsIdentify high performing channels and optimise spendMonitor the impact on sales from pricing, promotion and competitor activityMonitoring RBA rates, immigration patterns and other regulatory and planning risks which might impact sales
Stock and Inventory AnalysisMonitor stock levels, sell-through rates and inventory turnoverIdentfy stock-outs, overstock and at-risk inventorySupport demand planning by aligning sales trends with stock availabilityRecommend replenishment strategiesIdentify risks to stock levels
Reporting and VisualisationBuild and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similarEnsure reporting is timely, accurate and actionableAutomate recurring reports and standardise KPI's
Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with sales, marketing, supply chain and finance teams to align analytics with business objectivesProvide ad hoc analysis and insights for strategic initiatives, launches or promotions.
Our ideal applicant will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance or related. You should have a minimum of 3 years experience in an analytical role within sales, marketing or inventory specific environments. Your strong proficiency in Excel, BI Tools such as Power Query, Power BI and SQL is preferred.
Our ideal person will have an understanding of property sales and performance metrics, with the ability to analyse large data sets, identify trends and translate these into actionable business insights. You should also have experience with forecasting methods and demand planning tools.
