Experienced Maintenance Employee – Drainage

Permanent Full Time

Location: Morwell

Salary Range $68, $72,938.84 plus applicable allowances, up to $4,284.20 and 12% superannuation

Department: City Presentation

About this Role

As Experienced Maintenance Employee Drainage, you will use your skills and knowledge to perform a range of asset and infrastructure activities throughout Latrobe City.

Working hours will be from 7:00AM - 4:00PM with 9-day fortnight. Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Council's depot at Driffield Rd, Morwell.

About You

For this role, we are seeking someone with a good knowledge of the standards and practices relevant to storm water maintenance and infrastructure along with practical experience in the use of high pressure pipe and stormwater infrastructure cleaning equipment.

You will have:

* Current Heavy Rigid Vehicle license as a minimum.
* Current Traffic Control and Worksite Management certificate.
* Construction Induction (White Card).
* Possession of a current certificate recognising that the holder has been trained and assessed to competently undertake confined space entry.
* Practical experience in the use of high pressure pipe and stormwater infrastructure cleaning equipment used in drainage maintenance

Desirable:

* Current First Aid
* Experience working with a Municipal Council or similar authority

Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check and undertake a Pre-employment Medical Check.
