The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.
As part of the Process Engineering team, you will work alongside leading industry professionals in the Hydrometallurgy and Pyrometallurgy field to guide the development of process engineering deliverables. You will assist in developing solutions across various systems, unit operations, and process equipment.

You Bring to the Role:
You will be working towards a bachelor's/masters degree in Chemical Engineering, ideally in your third year (or later) of study, with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems.
The 12-week program commences on Monday, 17 Nov 2025. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 19 December 2025, and will reopen Monday, 5 January 2026. The Vacation Program will conclude from COB Friday, February 20th, 2026.
