Responsibilities
* Ensure all Raw Material deliveries are received and audited in a timely manner, physically as well as in SAP system
* Reviewing and auditing important Food safety documents.
* Maintaining and improving quality and food safety systems by performing analytical testing, analytical instrument calibration and maintenance
* Training and coaching the site team in quality processes and testing
* Conducting internal audits, generating and analysing reports and support with customer complaints and investigations
* Chemical preparation handling
* Ensure compliance with Hold and Abort systems
* Comply with site GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Policy to ensure quality and food safety of products manufactured comply to specification
Qualifications
* Qualifications in Science (Chemistry) or Food Science or related discipline (Preferable)
* Previous laboratory experience in similar manufacturing environment (Essential)
* High level of technical skills in the areas of instrumentation and/or chemistry & mechanical reasoning
* Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High levels of self-management and initiative with the ability to plan and prioritise, along with set and achieve targets
